Every Dog Has Its Day

HeadBlog is delighted to have guest Vlogger Angie Strachan treat us with her performance poetry – enjoy and share

Angie has a keen interest in raising awareness of Mental Health issues and has volunteered on the Board of Directors for a local mental health charity.  She has spoken about her own experiences of living with Bipolar Disorder and performed her own spoken word poetry at two Work’s Mental Conferences hosted by Headtorch and the University of Glasgow.  She first became involved with Headtorch when she played the role of Tina in The Cynthia Show. At present Angie is raising her family and simultaneously concentrating on her love of writing and performing poetry while studying with the Open University for an English Literature and Creative Writing degree. Prior to this she worked as a Recruitment Consultant for eight years.  Getting involved with Headtorch gives Angie the opportunity to use her creative skills and personal experience to raise awareness of mental health issues in workplace.  Feel free to connect with Angie on LinkedIn.
