Seminar Be Confident in Supportive Conversations

9 October 2024, 12:00–14:00 Babcock International Group Plc Unit 100 Bristol Business Park Stoke Gifford Bristol BS16 1EJ

At this in person event for WIN, you’ll focus on building the confidence and skills to have a supportive conversation about mental health at work. Together we’ll explore questions including:

  • How can I spot signs of mental ill-health in someone?
  • When I notice someone is struggling with their mental health, what can stop me reaching out to them?
  • How do I have a supportive conversation about mental health?

At this event you will:

  • understand the balance between our mental health & our mental wellbeing
  • recognise how to spot signs of mental ill-health in others
  • consider the barriers – what stops us having a supportive conversation
  • grasp the process and skills needed to have a supportive conversation
  • explore and build confidence in how they work
  • think about available support options – in your workplace and nationally

Join us to develop understanding and share best practice. Leave energised and ready to put ideas into action.
